Student-Led Gospel Clubs at Public Schools
Our youth groups are full of students who attend schools all over Lane County. When Christ-following students go to school, it can feel isolating — until they find each other.
We’ve seen the encouragement that comes to our students when they discover other Christians at their schools who go to other churches. It happens every time we gather for United Youth Worship & Prayer events.
As youth pastors, we believe students are primed to reach their peers with the Gospel — but they need each other.
That’s why we’re teaming up to equip & support a cohort of students to lead Gospel clubs at 8 local public schools.
This is John 17 - students uniting on their campuses, youth pastors uniting in this mission — all so that more students would discover life in Jesus.
Because of this momentum, we received a matching grant of $17,000!
Will you help us raise the rest so we can launch the first cohort this summer?
The United Youth Clubs Story
United Youth Clubs builds on the foundation of United Youth Worship & Prayer, where students, representing many Lane County churches and schools, have united to worship, share testimonies, and pray for their schools. Some students have launched out start clubs, but ask for training, connection and a model. At the same time, youth pastors have been growing in friendship and collaboration.
Because of this momentum, the Palau Association nominated One Hope for this matching grant. This leads us to a new chapter. Will you help students write it?

Only students are allowed to lead clubs on school campuses during school lunch hours.
Campus Life and Young Life staff will be vital friends and partners on campus.
-
Funds will be used to develop training materials, host a training intensive, and monthly cohort gatherings. The grant provides food and marketing for clubs, and finances for students to dream about outreach events. It also supports the cost of the necessary work of collaboration.
