Back-to-School Giveaway
August 24 & 25, 2024

This year, more community partners joined forces than ever before to send students back to school with the resources they need and a fun celebration to launch them into the year. The joy was so real that a spontaneous dance party broke out with kids, parents, and volunteers in the courtyard of one location, as a student led the Cha Cha Slide!

Together, more than 100 organizations, including churches, businesses, and foundations, partnered to make available more than 3,500 new shoes, socks, backpacks, and school supplies to local students!

Project Hope is a Two-Day Outreach

School Work Day

On Saturday, churches partner with a neighborhood schools to prepare the facilities for the upcoming school year.  Volunteers provide hundreds of hours of manpower by power washing, weeding, trimming, painting, cleaning, window-washing and more!

Back-to-School Giveaway

The next day, more than 90 churches, organizations, and businesses partner in the Back-to-School Giveaway.

Through our combined efforts, we have provided approximately 3,000 students yearly with new shoes & socks, backpacks full of school supplies (and more) at five Kids’ Fair Giveaways in the Eugene, Springfield, and Junction City area.
