Back-to-School Giveaway
Project Hope supports students, families and schools through the School Work Day & Back-to-School Giveaway.
August 23 & 24, 2025
Sending Students to School with Confidence.
Annually, 100 churches, organizations, and businesses partner in the Back-to-School Giveaway.
Through our combined efforts, we provide about 3,000 students with new shoes & socks, backpacks full of school supplies (and more) at five Kids’ Fair Giveaways in the Eugene, Springfield, and Junction City area annually.
Additionally, churches partner with a neighborhood schools to prepare the facilities for the upcoming school year through the School Work Day. Volunteers provide hundreds of hours of manpower by power washing, weeding, trimming, painting, cleaning, window-washing and more!
2025 Event Recap
In 2025, we served more students, with more resources, alongside more partners than ever before!
Together, as 50 churches and 70 community partners, we served more than 3,000 local students with new shoes, socks, backpacks filled with school supplies, and more!
Every location reflected the heart of its community, offering fun and unique resources like a laptop raffle, winter coats, medical checks, bike riding lessons, balloon art, games, live music, meals, and more.
