What is Project Hope?
Project Hope is a back-to-school giveaway that happens in 5 locations on one weekend, serving pre-selected K-12 students from four school districts: Bethel, Eugene 4J, Junction City, and Springfield.
Students must have a ticket to attend and access new athletic shoes, socks, a backpacks filled with school supplies, and other resources. The giveaways happen at fun, family-friendly fairs!
How do I get a ticket for my child?
Tickets to Project Hope are distributed through your school district (Bethel, Eugene 4J, Junction City, and Springfield School Districts) starting on Monday, May 18th at 7 AM.
When are tickets available?
Monday, May 18th at 7 AM. Through your participating school district!
Who is eligible for Project Hope?
K-12 students enrolled in Bethel, Eugene 4J, Junction City, and Springfield schools who could use some extra help to start the school year strong!
What about homeschooled students or students enrolled in other districts?
Unfortunately, we are unable to serve students outside of our partner districts. Please reach out to your school district to inquire about resources available to you.
My child will be out of town, can a parent or friend pick-up their supplies?
Students must be present to receive supplies. This helps us make sure shoes fit!
We can’t attend, can I pick up supplies after the event?
Project Hope is a one-day event, and we do not distribute resources after the event.
Please reach out to your school or school district to learn about other resources.
Can I attend any Project Hope location?
No, please attend the Project Hope for your school district that matches the location on your ticket.
Can Pre-K students receive supplies?
Pre-K aged kids are welcome to attend the event, however we do not have resources that are age, size or grade appropriate.
What do I need to bring?
Just your student’s ticket!
What resources are available when the event is full?
Your school / school district will be able to direct you to additional resources.

Annually, 100 churches, organizations, and businesses partner in the Back-to-School Giveaway.
Through our combined efforts, we provide about 3,000 students with new shoes & socks, backpacks full of school supplies (and more) at five Kids’ Fair Giveaways in the Eugene, Springfield, and Junction City area annually.
Additionally, churches partner with a neighborhood schools to prepare the facilities for the upcoming school year through the School Work Day. Volunteers provide hundreds of hours of manpower by power washing, weeding, trimming, painting, cleaning, window-washing and more!
