Feb 27 & 28 | Conference Replays

What happens when Christian workplace leaders and Church leaders are united in Jesus, friendship, and a shared call to work together for Gospel transformation in their city?

Leaders from across our community gathered to see what God is doing in our city - what has been, what is, and what could be if Jesus-followers continue to move together in unity.

It takes the whole Church (workplace leaders, pastors, nonprofits, educators, young leaders, and every believer who longs to see Gospel transformation through the Church) to bring the whole Gospel (word & deed) to our whole community.

Breakout: Faith at Work - Chuck Proudfit

Most believers spend the majority of their waking hours at work, yet sometimes they can wonder how their faith fits there. This breakout will explore how our work is both appointed and purposeful, playing a significant role within the Gospel Movement in a city.

Breakout: City-Wide Prayer & Collaboration - Tom White

City transformation doesn’t happen overnight and it doesn’t last without deep roots. In this session, we’ll explore what makes a citywide network sustainable through committed, consistent prayer. Drawing from international and local examples, we’ll look at practical components that endure and the spiritual dynamics and yes, even the displacement of strongholds that often accompany united prayer.

Breakout: Disaster Readiness - Adam Peacocke

During COVID and local wildfires, the Church stepped up not because we had a master plan, but because trusted relationships were already in place. What if we became intentional about that readiness? This breakout casts vision for how a united Church can meet both tangible and spiritual needs during times of crisis.

Breakout: City-Wide Evangelism - Kirk Petersen

In a thriving city movement, the Gospel stays front and center. This breakout explores ways evangelism is growing in cities, how the Alpha Course is taking root in churches and workplaces, and what happens when believers step out together in simple ways to tell their story.

Local Example of Gospel Movement Collaboration & City-Impact: Sheds of Hope

The story of how a community came together to aid those affected by the Holiday Farm Fire in Blue River Oregon that occurred in September 2020.

Why See the City?

The light in our community shines brightest when the believers are connected and coordinated. From workplaces to church ministries, all parts are vital to the Gospel Movement in Lane County.

Our goals include:

  • See the landscape of gospel impact in our city.

  • Recognize your unique contribution within the Kingdom ecosystem.

  • Build relational partnerships with leaders across sectors.

  • Dream together about what could happen when followers of Jesus move as one.

Together, we gain a clearer vision of how our work contributes to the greater Gospel Movement in Lane County, as we walk and work in unity.
