Joining together to show Jesus' love
John 13:34-35

Project Hope
August 29th & 30th, 2015

Project Hope

On August 29th and 30th, we joined together again to serve local public schools, teachers and administrators, and students and families in our community. Different congregations adopted a neighborhood public school to prepare the grounds for the upcoming school year on Saturday for the School Work Day.  School administrators and staff were blessed by the hundreds of hours of manpower we provided, and one principal said that a cared for facility contributes to the entire atmosphere of the school. On Sunday, the annual Kids’ Fair and school supply giveaway was hosted at five different locations.  Volunteers from 40+ churches worked together to give away backpacks full of school supplies, a new pair of shoes and socks, free haircuts, and snacks in a fun, festival environment.  It was a wonderful weekend to serve together, meet some of the practical needs of our community, and join together to show Jesus’ love!

A big ‘thank you’ to the hundreds of people who served and gave of their time and finances, to the businesses and organizations that donated, and everyone who played a part in Project Hope!

One Church – One Day:
Strategic Prayer Initiative

Churches in our community are praying together in a new way! One Church – One Day is a collaboration of 31+ churches covering one 24-hour day each month to pray for our community.  The goal is to have a church-led, year round, strategic prayer covering for our community (24-hours a day 365 days a year). As of June 2015, there are 36 churches covering 31 days of the month with prayer! Check out the calendar below. Click here for more information!

“A new command I give you: Love one another.
As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”
“I pray also for those who will believe in me …,
that all of them may be one, …
so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”

– Jesus

He is Calling.

Pastors, leaders, small churches, large churches
and ministries are responding to this call by:
Joining Together To Show Jesus’ Love!

One Hope connects churches and ministries in our community together to:

  • Seek the Lord through worship and prayer,
  • Serve our community through partnerships, and
  • Share the good news with our neighbors.
We pray that as we join together in obedience to the Scriptures, the Lord’s power and presence will transform us and our community.
“There is one body and one Spirit – just as you were
called to one hope when you were called.”
Ephesians 4:4
