Hope Alive in Lane County

Together | Prepared to Respond to Crisis in 2020

From schools & food insecurity to mounting racial tension and protests, and then the Holiday Farm Fire, we saw the significance of how God unified His people before a crisis - so we could respond together.

Here are three videos, recounting what we saw God do in 2020. We pray it's a gift you, as you reflect on the year.

Episode 2 | Racism, Reconciliation, Protests & Prayer

Episode 3 | Holiday Farm Fire: the rally and the long-haul

Joining Together Impact 2020

We began 2020 like we always do.

With 45 pastors and leaders at Cannon Beach, we sought the Lord, strengthened friendships, and prayed for the coming year.

Additionally, in the course of the year, 120 pastors and leaders connected through monthly gatherings and Una Esperanza (Hispanic pastors).

These relationships made all the difference as 2020 continued to unfold.

Through every crisis that presented itself this year, we saw a unified, praying church rise to the occasion:

2 Overflow Hope billboards with Bible phrases pointing people to Jesus (connected to a website & social media) launched before the pandemic’s onset locally.

3,200 backpacks, school supplies, shoes and socks were made available to students at Project Hope, through the partnership of 50 churches & 20 businesses.

130 families received weekly meal boxes through Families Feeding Families - a partnership with schools and people from 18 churches.

1,200 Thanksgiving Boxes equaling 6,000 meals were distributed by 46 churches & businesses.

44 churches engaged in 24/7 prayer for the 5th year of One Church - One Day. After a violent protest, one call to prayer had 7,100 views on Facebook in 5 hours.

2 Online Community-Wide Worshipservices brought our unity, worship andprayers to homes, reaching more families than ever before.

51 Sheds of Hope are committed so far, of that, 16 are already built.

We’re trusting God to multiply the effort through churches and businesses. Sheds are a first step for property owners rebuilding after the Holiday Farm Fire. Learn more here.
