God’s people gather weekly to worship Jesus in church services all over town. However, when Jesus-followers come together from every corner of our community, representing different expressions and backgrounds, we see a greater expression of the Body of Christ! This is our joy when we come together for Community-Wide Worship & Prayer.
We come together for Community-Wide Worship twice a year: in May and November. Local pastors and leaders facilitate these gatherings, and a multi-church worship team leads the time of worship. We sing, we pray for our community, and celebrate the shared future we have in Christ!
thanksgiving worship
We begin the holiday season with thanksgiving and worship together annually at Thanksgiving Worship! Pastors share their heart and vision for joining together, a multi-church worship team leads worship, and artists from the Pacific Rim Art Guild create visual representations of our prayers during the event.
It's always a joyful, diverse expression of the Body of Christ, and a glimpse of heaven on earth. What better way to begin the holiday season than with thanksgiving, worship, and prayer?
community-wide worship in may
For years, the month of May has been dedicated to Community-Wide Prayer! It's taken many forms from Global Day of Prayer to May We Cry Out. Now, One Church – One Day is the theme of Community-Wide Worship in the spring.
In May of 2015, when we launched One Church – One Day with Community-Wide Worship. As 24/7 prayer happens through the unified prayer effort, it is fitting to come together once a year to celebrate God’s answers to our prayers and to ask for His grace as we continue to pray together.
The day before Community-Wide Worship, Mountaintop Prayer happens simultaneously on various buttes in the area. Check out our calendar for upcoming dates.
