This year hundreds of people from across Lane County gathered together for ten days of prayer in May. There were eight nights of prayer and worship. Each was hosted at a different church and led by two pastors from the area (see below). Every night had the common theme of God’s people coming together to ask the Lord to move in our community while focusing on five prayer requests.

Still, the prayer did not just stay in the church buildings! On the first Saturday of the ten days, we hit the Willamette River path for a prayer walk. People came together for a barbeque and worship in the park, and then they circled the river path that was colored by chalk art and Scriptures as they prayed. On the second Saturday, the ten days came to a close with Mountain Top Prayer. People hiked up four different summits surrounding our community simultaneously to worship, pray and declare the Lordship of Jesus and His goodness.
Thank you to every church that hosted a night, every pastor and worship leader that partnered to lead an evening, every sound tech, chalk artist and mountain top worship leader. And thank you to the hundreds of people from Noti to Junction City, Harrisburg to Springfield and Veneta to Eugene who prayed and partnered their faith in agreement that God would move mightily in our county and in our time!
