One Hope 2012 Calendar

Pastors’ and Ministry Leaders’ Prayer Summit
January 30th – February 1st

For over 20 years, pastors and ministry leaders have gathered together in Cannon Beach for a time of seeking the Lord for one another, their ministries, and our community. This year, fifty-one leaders came together for a rich time of fellowship with each other and the Lord!

Outreach Ministry Fair: Saturday, March 17th, 1 – 2:30 p.m.

This event highlighted outreach efforts of local churches and ministries, and was designed to give them an opportunity to share information, build relationships and discover how we can better serve our community together. About sixty ministries participated in this event held at Northwest Christian University.

Spring Break Youth Outreach – Mission Trip to Our Community:
March 25th – 29th

High school and college young people joined together during their spring break in an effort to reach our community and bring positive change through prayer, service and evangelism.

MAY We Cry Out! 10 Days of Prayer: May 17th – 27th

We’re calling our churches and their people to devote 10 days in May to pray and seek God for our community. The many opportunities to join together in prayer include nightly prayer meetings, a 5k prayer walk, Prayer from High Places and will conclude with the Global Day Celebration at Alton Baker Park.

Global Day Celebration: May 27th, 4 – 7 p.m.

Come to Alton Baker Park, and bring a picnic, chairs, your family and your friends! There will be music, visual arts, worship, prayer, and testimonies. This is the conclusion of May We Cry Out’s 10 Days of Prayer.

Olympic Trials: June 22nd —July 1st

This June, some of the churches in our community will serve together at Hayward Field as people from all over the nation come to Eugene for the Olympic Trials! For further registration information, please follow the link below.

Volunteer Registration

Project Hope Back-To-School Outreach: August 25th – 26th

On one weekend in August, churches will serve their local schools by painting, landscaping and getting the school facilities ready for the school year. Then on Sunday, churches and ministries will join together to hold a Kids Fair Giveaway in the Autzen Stadium parking lot. Brand new shoes, backpacks, socks, school supplies,

haircuts and food will be given away that day. Last year an estimated 10,000 people were in attendance on Sunday, and over 1,200 volunteers from 56 churches and ministries served! We expect the turn out to be just as positive this year.

Community Thanksgiving Worship &
Meal Outreach: November 18th – 20th

This annual community event joins area pastors and churches to begin the holiday season in thanksgiving and worship to celebrate the Lord’s goodness throughout the year. Along with this event, 1,000 Thanksgiving meals will be assembled and delivered by our churches to families in our community.

Youth Leader Brown Bag Lunch

Youth leaders come together monthly to share vision and testimonies, develop initiatives among the youth and youth groups of our community, and mutually encourage each other.
Lunch meetings are held at 12 pm on the last Wednesday of each month at Willamette Christian Center. Please contact onehopenetwork@gmail.com to be added to the email list.

Pastors’ and Ministry Leaders’ Monthly Prayer Meeting

For over ten years, pastors and ministry leaders from many denominations in our community have gathered together to worship and pray. Wonderful relationships continue to develop as they pray for each other, their ministries, and this community. Gatherings are held on the third Thursday of each month from 8:30-10:00 a.m. (no meeting in August and in December, we meet on the second Thursday).

Quarterly Community-Wide Youth Worship and Prayer

Once every quarter, youth and youth groups from the community gather together to share testimonies, worship with a united, multi-church band and pray for each other, their campuses and our community. Upcoming event dates to come.
